Special Galungan Day

Galungan is a Balinese Hinduism holiday celebrating the victory of dharma (the good) over adharma (the evil). During this time, you will find a lot of “Penjor” a bamboo lines that line the street during times of ceremony. Penjor, is the symbol of a mountain that provides safety and welfare. During this time as well, Balinese will go back to hometown to gather with family as it marks the time when the ancestral spirits visits the earth, they will celebrate it with food and festive.
