Warung Nikmat is one of the famous Indonesian warungs in Kuta that serve Indonesian mixed rice. Nikmat means ‘delicious’ because this warung serves delectable side dishes displayed at the counter. You will find more than 30 side dishes and vegetables here. Choose the dishes that you want and they will give you a card for total cost of your meal. No wonder it’s always very crowded by locals, tourists and expats every day.
They also serve Nasi Lalapan or plain rice with choices of tofu, chicken, tempe and many more. You can try Soto, it is a traditional Indonesian soup mainly composed of broth, meat and vegetables. Warung Kolega is also a must visit for you who crave for clean Indonesian mixed rice. They offer Javanese buffet with many choices of side dishes that you can choose. Various types of cuisine start from chicken, eggs, fish, vegetables, beef and many more. All dishes are cooked in Javanese style spices. They have choices between white, yellow or brown rice. For those who don’t understand Indonesian, don’t worry, they labelled the menu in English as well.

Warung Hj. Maisyaroh is also a favorite Indonesian warung by tourists. They serve variant of side dishes but there is no label attached on the menu so you just need to point at your chosen menus. First you can choose between white or brown rice before you decide on the side dishes. They have two areas in indoor and outdoor.
Don’t forget to try Nasi Rawon or traditional Indonesian beef black soup and accompanied with salted egg. This warung also have variants of drink starts from young coconut, Indonesian iced fruit cocktail dessert, mixed iced, juices and many more.

Warung Yess is similar same with others warung and one of favorite tourist who live in Canggu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This warung is being ran by local family where you can try combinations of local food or Indonesian mixed rice with selection of white, red and brown rice, then add any side dishes you like from tofu, chicken, fish, beef and many more.
